San Antonio, Texas, USA. January 13, 2008.
Here are some pictures of San Antonio, a second largest city in
Texas. It is home to the Alamo, important historical place in the
history of the state. Here Texans fought for their independence from
Mexico. Mexican Army won the battle, but it took them two weeks to
capture the fortress. This delay allowed Sam Houston to strengthen
his army and ultimately win the war. The result of the Revolution was
the establishment of independent Republic of Texas which later joined
the USA.
